Hoba Meteorite

The Hoba ( HOH-bə) meteorite, short for Hoba West, is a meteorite that lies on the farm of the same name, not far from Grootfontein, in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It has been uncovered but, because of its large mass, has never been moved from where it fell.

Khorab Memorial

Khorab, a farm oasis 2.6 km north of Otavi, Namibia, hosts a monument commemorating negotiations between South African and German troops fighting in World War I. These led to the surrender of around 4,000 German soldiers in what was known as the Treaty of Khorab.

NamibRand Nature Reserve

The NamibRand Nature Reserve is a private nature reserve in Southwestern Namibia in the Namib Desert. Founded in 1984 by J.A. (Albi) Brückner, it has more than 215,000 hectares (2,150 km2) and shares a 100 km border with Namib-Naukluft National Park to the west and the Nubib mountains to the east.

Altes Gefängnis

Altes Gefängnis (German for "old prison") is a prison in Swakopmund, Namibia. It was constructed in 1909 by the German Empire and designed by German architect Heinrich Bause.

Independence Memorial Museum

The Independence Memorial Museum is a historical museum in Windhoek, Namibia. It focuses on the anti-colonial resistance and the national liberation struggle of Namibia. The museum is located on Robert Mugabe Avenue and was designed and built by Mansudae Overseas Projects, a North Korean firm.

Etosha Pan

The Etosha pan is a large endorheic salt pan, forming part of the Kalahari Basin in the north of Namibia. It is a hollow in the ground in which water may collect or in which a deposit of salt remains after water has evaporated.

Namutoni park

Namutoni is a restcamp on the edge of Etosha pan in the Oshikoto Region in northern Namibia. It is one of the entrance gates to Etosha National Park.

Walvis Bay

Walvis Bay (English: lit. Whale Bay; Afrikaans: Walvisbaai; German: Walfischbucht or Walfischbai) is a city in Namibia and the name of the bay on which it lies. It is the second largest city in Namibia and the largest coastal city in the country.

Lüderitz Railway Station

Lüderitz railway station (German: Bahnhof Lüderitz) is a railway station serving the town of Lüderitz in Namibia. It was erected in 1904.It is part of the TransNamib Railway, and is the terminal of the currently decommissioned line to Aus which was completed in 1906.

Lake Oshikoto

Otjikoto Lake is the smaller of only two permanent natural lakes in Namibia. It is a sinkhole lake that was created by a collapsing karst cave. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Tsumeb and only 100 meters from the main road B1. The lake was declared a national monument in 1972.

St. Barbara

St. Barbara Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church in downtown Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. Built in 1914, the church is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of mine workers. Tsumeb's economy is based on mining. In the 2000s, the Church dominated the view of downtown Tsumeb.
